Oh my God I just realized I could have done this on Linux had I actually followed the fucking instructions I was given. Pulling out the battery put the damn thing in EDL.

I forgot how yucky it feels to hunt down for obscure drivers in the shadiest of places to do actual hardware work on Windows. Jesus Christ.
This is a new install and I already feel like I must purge it.

Actually managing my dotfiles was a good idea. Not pulling them first-thing was not.
But now I have everything set up mostly as it was before!
And I'm adding a few extra files I was missing, like fontconfigs and such. Emoji now work... mostly! 😶‍🌫️

Just set up zsh by hand. I'll try and abandon oh-my-zsh because it is indeed just abstracting away all the cool things I can do with this shell! It's coming along nice.
Too bad I am also eyeing fish... I'll use both and see if POSIX compliance is really important.

As a bonus, this one song is played during the credits of Blue Sky's Robots, at least for the mexican (latin american? not sure) release. I have no idea if this is just a one-off or if this movie has a different credits song depending on the dub?

My favorite part of listening to music on YouTube is finding an old upload of a song.
They tended to use a noise gate? or filter? (idk the term) which made the sound muddier and quieter. It sounds like absolute crap but it has a nostalgic, early internet taste to it.

I also love videos that have mojibake in the title. No idea how that could have happened well into the 2000s.

Wait hold the phone, if Flatpak's user installation dumps all user data to a .var folder under ~, doesn't that mean that I could be up and running by just installing all apps on install? Everything should Just Work™️, right?

systemd-homed is cool, actually. Maybe I set it up funny (my home folder IS a partition, and a loopback device, so space unused is reserved and looks Weird), but it's cool knowing it's portable. Next reinstall should go smoother. Knock on wood.
