This is also good advice for vehicle batteries, which are similarly expensive
@ThatDamnCat Yeah I had that problem when it dropped to -20F in Colorado one time. Mine was old and did not like that cold of a crank.
My SUV hasn't had a temp below 17F so far but I can imagine that would blow.
My SUV has the battery in a chamber within the passenger compartment, behind the passenger seat, so there's less environmental impact, but that temp would always be rough.
@ThatDamnCat yeah especially radiated heat from the road. Someone else also told me batteries die really fast in arizona and tires just melt away
