It kind of only just struck me that Alan Burnham's 1981 'Science Fiction' is literally a musical response to Jeff Wayne's 1978 'Forever Autumn' (kind of the musical/thematic sparkplug of the whole War of the Worlds album)
Is there a case to be made that Jeff Wayne's WotW in its turn was what directly inspired Taito's Space Invaders? If not, it's a heck of a coincidence.

Context: Gardening MMO
An NPC that wanders around looking at all the pretty flowers.
Their AI would be programmed to seek out the most "enjoyable" flowers, calculated by some formula including all the observable qualities of a flower. They would also keep knowledge of it's favorite flowers, and when talked with, would tell you what most of those favorite flowers have in common, e.g. "I like big, red flowers!".
