I don't really understand Mastodon etiquette. I'm sure some of it's a holdover from Twitter etiquette (I always misspell and have to retype that word) but since I never used Twitter I am left clueless! I see people favo(u)riting my status a lot when it doesn't seem like something fave-worthy (to me); is that like a way of signalling "i have read this thing"?
As I understand it a fav is just like "I agree but have nothing to say" or "that's neat", or if you're in a thread with someone it can mean "I acknowledge and see this"
Awoo.space is a Mastodon instance where members can rely on a team of moderators to help resolve conflict, and limits federation with other instances using a specific access list to minimize abuse.
