@anthracite I suppose that tracks, though I'm not entirely sure why folks are saying to flee one of the most prominent furry instances out there.
That being said, I've only recently begun to appreciate that when operating on Mastodon, one must not only trust those they talk with and their instance admin, they also have to trust the destination instance admin as well. Shit's complex, I suppose.
Also, please fucking why oh my god with this "everywhere should be 4chan" bullshit. I am so WEARY of that claptrap garbagefire 'ethos'. Can we please move on to something else, internet? Ugh.

@anthracite @Phorm The fleeing part is because awoo blocked an instance so anyone on awoo can't talk with people on that instance

I was wondering if this would potentially lead to my getting into a "You talk with people on Awoo, so you are obviously evil" situation. As similar things have happened in the past. But that seems to be not the case.
