@JulieSqveakaroo @Phorm let me just pop the roo and store in a corner..
anyway if you could throw the full size pics on Dropbox or something it'd help
Bug ID request, mh (---)
@JulieSqveakaroo @Phorm but it looks like it has 8 legs? so not a tick or anything likely to harm you.

OH MY GOD IT HAS 8 LEGS
Oh sweet christ, I was worried it was a bed bug, but they have SIX legs. At least that is a HUGE relief, my goodness, THANK YOU.

@Phorm definitely not one of those no! I did brain fart - ticks have ,8 legs- but I don't think it's one anyway

Oh I'm so relieved - At least, if it's not a bedbug, I don't have to worry about a relapse on that - And I don't have to burn everything in my living room.
Thank you ever so much.

About 1/16 of an inch. I'd give higher rez pictures, but honestly it's so small my phone isn't up to the task.

re: Bug ID request, mh (---)
@Phorm masto squashed those down even farther is the thing :) It's a mite or tick of some sort, not sure what. Squash it and move on, you're fine. If you've been outside recently and are feeling paranoid maybe give yourself a once-over for hitchhikers. this one particular one if it's a tick hasn't fed, the abdomen is too short. IMO it's *probably* a mite? but that's as far as I can guess.
re: Bug ID request, mh (---)
A mite or a tick seems to be the consensus - I'm hoping I can calm down now. We have a lot of trees just outside my apartment, so it wouldn't surprise me if if a tick or a mite wandered inside from out there.
Thank you so much - And sorry for the panic on my part.
