deeply concerned about the philosophical implications of the form of immortality i provide to my followers in Cult of the Lamb.
our current status quo is that if you get old, we immediately sacrifice you to a mass of writhing tentacles, your body destroyed and harvested, and then like 30 seconds later we resurrect you and you're young again.
This has allowed my followers to count as being hundreds of years old, but like... they've been through a lot of bodies, and there has to be cessation of consciousness when you're made into usable meat, right? So am I actually just Teleporter Probleming everyone? 😿
@V I feel like when you're dealing with magic you can skip the Teleporter Problem by just yoinking their soul back. So it depends on what the resurrection spell *does*.
Hopefully it works better than Pet Sematary? :D
@Doephin yeee. Souls seem like they proooobably exist in this canon, so we should probably be good.
