Before a fresh round of videos from Tbilisi get sent my way of protestors using lasers on cops & cameras, I have some thoughts:
1) Try not to lase your fellow protestors.
2) They don't do nearly as much to that camera as you'd hope.
3) You'll piss cops off. Don't get shot.
@funranium isn't 1 really hard given reflection and scattering? or am I overestimating the lasers used
@funranium @Doephin "Most" is a rather load bearing word though. Styropyro Georg, who lives in youtube & makes 10,000 watt handheld lasers each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
@Doephin For most handheld units, scattered light and even specular reflections off shiny surfaces will be divergent. The most dire risk is the person with a laser next to you going WOOOOOOOO and shooting you right in the face.
