Every so often I'm reminded of the first attempts at moon missions and how many of them missed the Moon entirely.

And I giggle.

It's not fair- space is hard!- but it's just such an absurd line on a mission report.

Lots of talk about remakes being all soulless crap that prove mass media is creatively bankrupt lately.

And yeah many are. It's easier to sell people something they know than all new

But many aren't, and it's not like the idea is new. Hell two of my favorite songs are retellings of stories that are 100s of years old!

I think long copyrights have distorted the culture around remakes and remixes a lot, because you see less if the organic creativity and more cash ins.

Crow this morning apparently studied at the Prometheus school of running away from things. Sitting in the road and tried to fly up the road to get away from the cars instead of sideways.

I pick her up and ask her where we are going. She very confidently tells me. We get there annnnnd nope. It's in a different building down at the main hospital. Mad dash there and we just barely make it.

Now if turns out the tooth didn't break yesterday. Yesterday is just when she bothered to tell me >.<
