So admission:
I never have owned a nintedo console other than a second hand grey brick from my older sister.
Sometimes I'm sad I don't have the kind of nostalgia people do the old titles.
But no, I get to intstead trashpost about the fact DK, Banjo and Crash Bandicoot are all the same fucking dude in different outfits.
DK PUT ON SOME PANTS YOU MONSTER
@Draekos the switch is a good system. Has quite a few good games on it! I imagine you already know the other nintendo systems that are good to have.
@Felthry nope, my only consoles have been a ps2 then 3 <_<
@Draekos a gameboy advance sp and a 3ds covers all of their portable games, which there are worthwhile games in all generations of that
NES and SNES are too easy to emulate to be worth having unless you're a collector
a wii is definitely worth having, but make sure it's one of the earlier backwards-compatible models that also plays gamecube games
wii u you can probably skip honestly
switch is good, definitely recommend
@Draekos oh and the n64 is the one system we've never owned so can't say much about that
I get the impression that it's not really worth having despite having so many milestone games? it's fairly easy to emulate and most of the good games got rereleases
@Felthry I mean... I don't have much interest in super old games <_<;
@Draekos oh! fair enough. Old video games is kind of a fixation-y interest for me >.>
THIS BEING SAID, the Switch does seem to actually have some good games, I dunno, I might need to get one of my own once I'm not living in an apartment containing 2 already.
