@IrisKalmia My I-hope-benign incomprehension of those is, I suspect, mostly my biologists' habits of thought getting in the way. It's a lot to fight past to get to the potentially sexy bits. (Someone else I know once described the appeal as "union with the predator, however painful the getting there", which I can kinda see.)
Above, though, I was referring to the appeal of maws beyond the warm, wet, positive pressure aspect of things. :)

@Verdigris @IrisKalmia @fluxom_alt that's what is generally called Hard Vore. Which I'm not fond of. But it has its fanbase.
Soft Vore generally throws out reality past the throat, or maybe even before then. Where the stomach does indeed become more of a womb space.
Although like, it's a fairly broad fetish. I hope that simple explanation helps.
