The fact that the background music in Thems Fightin' Herds changes to your character's instruments when you've got the lead is the coolest thing in the world. The feeling when you finally take a round from a tough opponent and the music swaps sides is unlike any other.
@hystericempress One Must Fall: Battlegrounds supposedly did that, though I never played the game. I do love much of what's on the OST, though.
Now I really want to try this game, though I know I'd never be any more than an amateur at it.
@ElectricKeet It's actually a lot simpler to pick up than a bunch of other fighting games I could name. Every input is either Quarter-Circle or a DP + Button and the universal mechanics means learning new characters is pretty simple.
Also it costs like 9 bucks on Steam right now.
