goes to Youtube to hear a song
sees its been removed by the original artist
thinks, that's shitty, the album this is from is out of print and the artist refuses to put up the MP3s
checks the artist's website
finds MP3s for sale
Fucking finally
buys album
...
The tracks have no metadata.
And they're all named "Track 01.mp3" etc.

@Aradia So, are they CBR 128 ("I don't hear a difference!") or CBR 320 ("Audiophiles sure love their MP3's!")? Untagged files usually mean default encoder settings, which are also the worst.

@ElectricKeet Properties say 192kbps. FLAC encoded files were available for an extra pound.

@Aradia Ugh. Charging extra for FLAC is like charging extra to have one's coffee served in a clean mug.
