What is it about RGB LED color mixing that so often gives a visual result that somehow tastes like a fruit roll-up?

I don't think it's just palettes, it's the light itself. Or maybe folks just need to step back from 100% saturation?

@starkatt I chalk it up to the nature of LED light spectra and our perception of color. A peak at red and a peak at green do not a yellow make, so anything yellow lit by this combination lacks the full range of its yellowness... kind of like how one or two specific chemical compounds can taste strawberry-flavored without actually tasting like real strawberries. There's so much intense flavor, but so much is missing!
