Yeah, this season really came through in showing a lot of different manifestations of depression in painfully familiar ways, some others', some my own. I'm looking forward to the next season.

I know it's gonna be painful, but it's been strangely therapeutic thus far.

I will not allow myself to be emotionally hollowed out by despair.

I will not succumb to a sense of futility.

I will not relinquish empathy in an attempt to enforce it in others.

I will, however, get a glass of water and a brief nap.

*sighs* Damn it all.

Hunh. There's still a part of my head attuned to my tulpa in Equestria, Gemini Star, after all.

I can't stomach the show these days, but the Equestria in my heart, the one I connected with... that's the one I miss, and that's the one where Gem is. It's hard to reach it sometimes, but I did tonight, and that's actually a huge morale boost all around.

Hm. Perhaps I'll introduce you lot to her sometime.

The good news:
You'll finally see a television show that manages to depict, honestly and explicitly, the exact sort of internal despair you hope to someday, somehow, "grow out of" and stop being pinned down by.

Some folks might consider the combination of weed and BJH (or _Rick and Morty_) to be ill-advised due to the often dark content, but I find that it actually helps! The cannabinoids manage to open up the ol' emotional pathways whilst simultaneously buffing out any lingering sense of hopelessness, so I still get the emotional impact without it crashing my mood.

• Wear nitrile/latex gloves for non-slip handling of glass.

• Put bowl and slide in a sealable bag – one at a time if fragile.

• Add kosher salt to both bag and bong.

• Pour in some rubbing alcohol. 70% will do, but you can get 99% online.

• Seal the bag, then shake the devil out of it.

• Stop up any openings (with a finger or your palm) and shake the bong the same way.

• Rinse it all out. It's like brand new!

I feel that if any feature wants adding to the Mastodon platform, it's better-defined security controls. Accounts gets allow/deny lists and which tier they belong to: friends, friends' friends, server, (current!) federation. Each post may invoke same (at account level or lower, and it would cost the length of the allow/deny list).

I don't care who's popular. I care who I can trust.
