I wonder, if you were to ask the average person who plays games why their favorite game is their favorite, and then ask the same question of the average Gamer™, would there be a noticeable difference in the quality of response

I'm thinking that a Gamer™ would probably have a less deep reason for liking their favorite game, or at least a less analyzed reason, than the average person
@Felthry Ohh, gotcha. That's a really interesting question - the more I think about it, the less sure I am how that would play out.
Once I can decide on which game that is, I'm sure I'd have a good reason for it.

quality is hard to judge, because there are a lot of different kinds of things that games can be good or bad at - is a well-made match-3 game higher or lower quality than a well-made team deathmatch arena shooter?
