sort of meta, -

I'm constantly worried that some of our close friends who we enjoy seeing stuff from and who I often want to see the things I post are moving back to twitter

I don't know what to do about this worry. We're definitely not getting a twitter account, that's absolutely never happening, but it just... it feels similar to how we went over to weasyl from FA and then most people slowly migrated back to FA and it's just, sad

re: sort of meta, -

I honestly don't understand why anyone in the world is still using twitter

@Felthry I worry about the same stuff myself. It's frustrating watching people use twitter when such a great space exists here.

I *get it* in that people are over there... But we need to evolve...

@packbat I don't blame you, or any individual person really, just. urgh.

@Felthry

A big chunk of my disabled social graph is only on Twitter, largely because that's where you have to be for self-advocacy. I get that much, but Mastodon is just so much better at accessibility, so ???

@Tathar @Felthry

it's a trap of "these people I really like following are on twitter so I can't leave twitter"

@nautilee @Felthry

Sort of? I'm still on Mastodon a lot, and try to bring people over to it, but some people use Twitter in a way that Mastodon can't replace.
