i just realized that it's very likely that whoever gets the democrats' nomination for president will be the next president of the united states, pretty much no matter who that is
it is very likely the democratic party is going to do whatever they can to manipulate some awful centrist into getting that nomination because they know that whoever that is, they'll still be better than the alternative
i just hope the nomination goes to sanders or someone with similar (i.e. existent) morals

@starkatt See this is the problem with our voting system, they're going to split the leftist vote between "well the democratic nominee actually has a chance of winning and even if they're centrist that's better than more of this incompetent cheeto" and "no way in hell am I voting for that person, I'm voting third-party" and then no one gets the majority
