I don't think we'll ever understand how people can use android or ios tablets as their main computer and not be constantly frustrated at them
nothing wrong with it if you do, just, how are you not constantly frustrated
@connie yeah there's no multitasking, you can't even access the filesystem, you can't do half the things we want to do with a computer (and also can't do 99% of the things we don't want to do with a computer but we don't really care about that)
@connie someone else pointed out that it's probably better for people with limited computer literacy who only need to use a computer for email and facebook and stuff though
I'd be more frustrated if it was iOS than if it was Android, but tablets are less than amazing. I've considered DIYing a Raspi "tablet" for myself.
@Felthry We tried this for little while years ago and yeah, it's kind of a nightmare how often the overall bad ux is. We had an Android tablet with a little keyboard case and everything!
