@Austin_Dern I think it's not that the concept makes sense, but that the concept can't be imagined because you can't imagine anything on the scale of an entire universe. You always think of an outside, which, as far as science is aware, doesn't exist
the concept of "literally everything" is difficult to grasp, so any conceptualization of it will include the possibility of an outside observer
@Felthry I know, but if that's the case then what does it mean to say that time has 'paused'? If a universal-time-pause is a thing that has no properties then how is it a thing? Doesn't a thing at least have to be able to have properties? If it can't possibly be a thing, then why does the concept seem to make sense when one thinks about it?
