@trwnh maybe it was just bad buffalo sauce but then we've never had good buffalo sauce

we like spicy stuff with other intense flavors to it than just hot. make it citrusy or salty or sweet as well

we had a really good korean barbecue sauce recently that does it well, sweet and salty and spicy

@Felthry you should be able to taste the vinegar and worcestershire, the hot sauce is just there to give it spice, and then the butter and seasoning is for rounding out the flavor

@trwnh what we tried tasted like only hot sauce, really

maybe some vinegar and butter? but that isn't really an *intense* flavoring I think

I suspect we might be whatever the opposite of a supertaster is, we seem to need more seasoning than most people

@Felthry it's supposed to be a bit mild tbh, i think it probably just has too much hot sauce in it
