Best crackers, of those listed:

Which cheese would you put on them?

And what other topping?

i have no idea why i decided to get fedi's opinion on cheese and crackers but hey, why not

@Felthry ...wait, a lot of people /like/ Ritz crackers? Like, a /lot/ of people?

That makes sense but we wouldn't have predicted it.

@packbat i was surprised by the lack of votes for saltines, personally! we like saltines.

Ritz crackers aren't bad, but they also aren't great. Too rich in flavor for us. Crackers ought to be subtle.

@Felthry saltines are fine and we don't know the little rectangular ones but we like water crackers a lot so we voted for those

strong agree on Ritz crackers being too rich

@packbat The little rectangular ones are pretty rich too, but not as much as ritz.

@Felthry oh!

...yes, water crackers all the way.

Also we hadn't actually read down to see the third poll when we voted in the second one, and we are glad there was one, because we voted for Emmental and we really mostly like that /with/ something, not by itself.

@packbat yeah we've never liked swiss by itself either

some cheeses just don't work well alone. emmental, provolone, ones like that

I think it's just a matter of them being too mild?

cheddar and asiago are fine alone though. Muenster maybe?
