Is there any video game with a good water level?

@Felthry that's hard to say! all water levels are awful!

@Felthry I've heard good things about... Rayman Legends I think?

@Felthry

Does Ecco the Dolphin count or is that being pedantic?

@Felthry It would have to be one where being underwater feels fun in its own way instead of awkward, and not a whole lot of games do that. The one that comes to mind for me is Super Mario Odyssey, where you can take the form of things that swim naturally, so you can just cruise around without worrying about air or jumping or anything.

@Felthry Sonic 3 has Hydrocity Zone and that's very good, but also of note is that there's water in every level but one in that game!

@Felthry oof, understandable, that's no good for you then

@connie Sonic games never agreed with us in general. We try to explore the whole level, and that's just plain not possible in most sonic games and trying to do it in water levels results in drowning.

@Felthry Hmm - you might enjoy playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles with cheats to disable time limits and oxygen levels, and playing as Tails, since his flying lets you reach everywhere you want to the easiest...
