we're only seeing any of this stuff secondhand but it feels kind of suspicious to us that some police just up and left a police station and then later protestors apparently take it over and declare it an autonomous area
this kinda sounds like a setup of some sort
is our understanding of events correct?

This comes after like a solid week of clashes there, with police getting increased criticism for use of force. The only way they could turn down the heat was to straight bail.
The move is definitely strategic on their part.
Yeah though, possibility that it's some kind of bait is very much being discussed.

@starkatt yeah it definitely sounds like some kind of setup, I hope things don't go bad
then again it could be their attempt to get people to do just what they've done to show how poorly it works, which from what we see is kinda blowing up in their face, considering how well it appears to be working
