I'm not sure I would spend that much to stay at a hotel when the best thing they can say to promote it is "We have two floors.".

For reference as to how much that is, so far in this game there has been exactly one inn that costs more than 100 gold, and that was one where the owner was taking advantage of its remoteness and the fact that anyone getting there would be exhausted enough to pay anything for a heal.
Most inns cost no more than 80 gold, with some as cheap as 10.

@RecursiveRabbit Earthbound does it for humor purposes, though. As far as we can tell, this is just translators having to condense longer text into a small area, since English text takes up more space than Japanese and this was before it was common for localisations to add more text boxes where needed. I imagine the original japanese may have listed multiple selling points, and the translators chose this one for some reason.
It is the only inn with two floors we've seen so far, at least.
