i like the fact that the earliest human whose name we know wasn't some great king or hero or anything, they were just an accountant keeping inventory at some kind of warehouse dedicated to beer ingredients, whose name happens to be on the earliest known tablet that clearly has an individual's name on it (one of the tablets they used for record-keeping)
