@Felthry a lot of the time the foam has nothing to do with the soap. companies add foaming agents to soap because people have associated bubbles with cleaning and would think the soap isn't working if it doesn't foam. dishwasher detergent just doesn't have those foaming agents.
only reason I know this is because it's a debate in the auto detailing world whether foaming agents should be in the soap or not.
