@Felthry someone has put that rip on youtube already it seems so you can have a flick through it if youre interested. the first track, "coke bunny" is a personal favourite, but it can be a bit much. "beast my baby" is another favourite tho and thats more enjoyable
@Felthry toy label itself was more active and prolific in the late 90s and early 2000s mind. nowadays it is pretty much exclusively for bubble-b's own personal output and not much else https://www.discogs.com/label/69643-Toy-Label
they put out a lot of real good albums tho like mutingmute's "pajero" which is kind of a downtempo sorta deal
@avie I understood some of those words, hah
this sounds like probably not our kind of thing
-F
@avie we're very, *very* picky about music due to an unfortunate combination of auditory processing disorder stuff
-F
@Felthry ahh thats entirely fair. yeah give robotch a miss though.
not sure how youll fair with it, but pajero is more kinda lowkey, chill techno vibes so it might be more enjoyable? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKpxnN4KyB8
@avie I dunno, we've never gotten along with techno music
i'm leery of clicking the link because one of those things that makes us super picky is that any music that we hear, no matter how much we may hate it, gets stuck in our heads, and it's really unpleasant if that's music we dislike
-F
@Felthry oh jeez okay yeah better safe than sorry then :x
@avie sorry! i'm sure it's good if it's your kind of music
-F
@Felthry nono, its cool!! dont worry about apologizing esp if its something you cant really help haha
i might be able to help with recs that are more to your tune if you lmk what sorta thing you tend to go for?
@avie I dunno if we knew you back when I did it regularly, but I used to do a thing about some of our favorite video game music under the tag #felthrysvgmselection if you want to give that a look!
-F
@Felthry iii dont believe i did 'w'
@avie or if you want just one, here's one of our favorites right now

@Felthry it is a compilation album by japanese independent label "toy label", which is run by an artist who goes by "BUBBLE-B"; he also runs "speedking records" which is more focused on breakcore n that
robotch 2001 in particular is kind of a mix of hyperactive electronic stuff and fun tunes built around samples. its also only available online in a semi okay quality mp3 rip with a less than 300x300 cover
