thoughts on the new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack pricing, pretty sure everyone here agrees with us
Nintendo: Hey, don't pirate our games!
Their Users: Oh, are you finally gonna release your back-catalog on Virtual Console?
N: Better! We're gonna drip-feed N64 and Genesis ROMs for the foreseeable future!
U: ...Genesis isn't even a Nintendo system. And what about GameCube games?
N: What about GameCube games?
U: ...
N: Interested? It's only $30 extra/year!
U: That's $50/year for a single person! Do we at least get built-in voice chat and improved server infrastructure?
N: Why would you want that?
U: Pirates every game Nintendo owns the rights to out of spite

@The1AndMany also worth noting that everything up to wii is very easy to emulate even on a not-that-great computer (except metroid prime 2, unless they fixed that), and consoles up to n64 and handhelds up to DS are easy to emulate on a crap computer

Well that partially explains it. Have you seen the specs for the switch? 4GB RAM is simply not enough in 2021.

@The1AndMany the switch can run gamecube games fine, the port of mario sunshine is just an emulator
