tbh my big critique with dungeon encounters is the soundtrack is something you either really like, or it becomes incredibly grating incredibly fast
anyway i muted it and i'm playing one of my TRPG battle music playlists on youtube and that's solved so
@kat Uematsu did the soundtrack right? His work is usually p good
@witchfynder_finder i'm not sure honestly, most of the music is just like actual classical music played with a rock kit which is like... very minimal and weirdly bleak sounding, which fits the aesthetic
i just don't super enjoy it haha
@kat @witchfynder_finder Uematsu has always kind of done the "classical music played with a rock kit" sound, so it wouldn't surprise me. look at final fantasies 6 and 9 for good examples

@Felthry @witchfynder_finder nah i mean like the entire soundtrack is literally just actual classical music that's public domain, stripped down to like a single rock instrument with a lot of dead air between notes
it's like the opposite of his usual style haha
