is there like... a cheap way to get around five copies of a small book printed

i just want a couple of something that's got a custom cover and has stuff on the pages, but isn't just stapled together like a booklet

@kat we accidentally ended up taking a class in bookbinding in college and it was actually pretty fascinating

@Felthry god i had to do that once for a design project where we were using cardboard and twine to build architectural stuff

ended up showboating and making the cover out of cardboard with scored and peeled detailing and decoration, and threading twine to bind it and also through the corrugation to make a nice soft mesh where the decoration left holes

i cut my hands so many times on that one

@kat oh that sounds intereesting!! did you use a proper binding method or just like sew it together?
-F

@Felthry no idea honestly, just kinda... bound the pages together the way you'd staple a booklet, but with twine

and then like... spiral bound that to the cardboard cover, also with twine
