… Miltank is a frickin BEAST in Gen 2. Like omg this thing TANKS. And DISHES BACK. Omg

But now I understand her power. How she feels being on the Cow’s side…
@Lugia Did you beat her first in gen 2 or gen 4? Because I'm pretty sure they rebalanced things to be more fair in the remake.

@Felthry Both, but mostly Gen 2. I never found myself struggling too hard against her, I’m a staller and seed + toxic setter at heart, so with slow damage and small recoveries i could manage to get it down
I always struggled more with Chuck since I rarely carry around a psychic or flying type lol…
@Lugia ah yeah if you go in with a strategy it's a lot easier, but for those of us who played the games when we were six and just used the moves that had cool animations, whitney was quite the wall!

I started playing Gen 2 in my teenage years so I had a bit more awareness and baggage with pokemons. Especially Chikorita whom I learnt to use quite well. (Again, always been huge on leech seeds. Been setting these babies up since I was way young!)
@Lugia pokemon crystal was one of the first video games we ever played, and the first one we could call our own (technically it was borrowed from a cousin but everyone involved forgot about that detail until years later), so it has a special place for us! it's why i've been a quilava or typhlosion on a number of occasions, too; cyndaquil was our starter.
