Feels like I need to fucking retire the Vibes Menu idea. No matter how much I try to say "no this isn't a fucking checklist, it's a flavour palate" people seem to just maliciously miss the point.

Time to try to sit down and find a new way to more clearly say:

I have an extremely hard time actually settling on ideas for commission pieces. "Wing it" or similar just fills me with anxiety and option paralysis. You want to give me money to draw your character, I want to draw your CHARACTER, not just them soullessly posing in a contextless void.

and like yeah, I know a lot of my backgrounds are just Lo's cool cloud brush over some gradient shapes.

But I like to put fucking emotion into a piece. There's a reason "Flirty" is my example of a bad commission prompt.

Are they sly/subtle or really forward? Confident or shy? Dom or Sub? Switch? Each of these questions really changes how a pose and expression could come together but every iteration of that is "flirty"

so yeah, I tried the vibes menu as a way to say "hey here's some loose ideas of the things I'm interested in drawing right now." As a way to actually encourage that deeper talk.

A solid half of the commission requests I've gotten since I started seemed to view it as a challenge to say "oh just give me all of it" as if it's a venn diagram and I've got a super lewd sketch in my pocket just WAITING for someone to ask for it.

@Draekos It might work better if you encourage or require them to stick to two or three (or whatever you consider a good number)?
