@Austin_Dern isn't GOG owned by CDPR? don't they jointly process everything to begin wiith?

@DarkOverord @Felthry This makes things a bit more sensible. But I've never had anything to do with CDPR and never heard of Gwent before they sent me an e-mail demanding my attention without explaining why they should want it.
They could've put a line about 'This is information for people who play our popular game Gwent' at the start and then I wouldn't find the whole thing so irritating.
@Austin_Dern @Felthry Yeah, was baffled as to being a recipient of that as well as never played Gwent ever :X
@DarkOverord @Felthry I'm curious if they're sending notices to people who never heard of Master Of Orion II that their user data is being processed now.
@Austin_Dern @Felthry No such email here, likewise never heard of it X3
@DarkOverord Oh, that was a 90s 4X strategy game, a pretty good conquer-the-galaxy game with the extra win path of finding and deciphering enough Mysterious Ancient Artefacts.
@Austin_Dern oh neat c:
@Felthry @Austin_Dern Owned by but not managed by if that makes sense? So GOG's user data and CDPR's user data wouldn't always be shared. In this case GOG was solely managing Gwent's user data.
Basically the email is them (being legally required by EU law) having to tell users that they're sharing the data now between them.
