@Nine i don't think wood has a single melting point, since it's not a chemically pure substance nor a eutectic mixture

@Nine also pretty sure some of the components of wood will sublimate rather than melt?

@Felthry basically yes, this too. Though technically even those components CAN melt and boil too, just only at particularly high pressures for example, from what I've read..I could be wrong though, but the idea of liquid, bubbling wood is both mind-blowing but also somehow very funny to me
