someone asked "how'd you pick your fursona" on twitter and I wanna put my responses to that here as well
it's constantly shifting, but to go in order:
border collie: I just identify with dogs a lot and those are the cutest ones to me
collie/shark: attached to shark's misunderstood nature, love swimming and eating, wanted a unique hybrid design I hadn't seen around much
shark: ok, so "shark Connie" doesn't look entirely like a "shark" aside from like, the tail, but I had an urge for dropping some species-specific features and coming up with something more bespoke that's just, "Connie"
naga: snakes have the same misunderstood nature as sharks, always found them really beautiful, and also I was obsessed with snake people ever since I saw the Yuan-Ti Abomination enemies in some D&D video game and wanted to be them
