telling people not to self diagnose something that the medical system itself is designed to ignore and erase is functionally telling people with it to stop existing so you can maintain your shitty opinion of anyone who isn’t you hope this helps
@kat honestly for a lot of things we trust self-dx more than professional diagnoses

@kat there's like one or two things where there's the occasional case of someone claiming to be X while not understanding what X actually is but in the vast majority of cases if someone says they're X they probably have a good reason for thinking that and probably have done some nonzero amount of research into X
