@Felthry @heatherhorns Great question and I don't remember whether the video discussed that at all. I have the impression they figured they needed to make, like, a 10% chance of failure be reported as 33% (or something) so it would 'feel' honest.
Someone has *got* to have made a psychology thesis out of this.
@Felthry @heatherhorns I saw a video from (I think) a developer of the Civilization games saying that when they had the editions that told the odds of a battle before starting, they ended up making up the percentages, because gamers got *so cross* when the game told them they had like, a 90% chance of winning and yet lost.
