pokemon legends: arceus nerdposting (shiny hunting desires)

My dream alpha shiny is a female Eevee or Umbreon, entirely because of Umbreon's shiny coloration and a character in my head I've never written - only created.

I would also be happy with an alpha shiny Tangela or Tangrowth, *entirely* because cannabis humor reasons, or an alpha shiny Magnemite for the aesthetic.

@Felthry Sascha. Anthro. She's quiet, tall, and strong from doing physical things instead of working out. Likes camping, hiking, appreciating nature in general. Also fond of green energy tech on the small scale, things like solar-powered teardrop campers.

Is also an interpretation of "shiny isn't special or better, just different" due to being autistic like I am - which is to say, able to lose way too much time in a special interest.

Also a bit of invisible-disability rep, as she used a Zap Cannon TM as a kid prior to it being discovered that it would cause "burn in" and never be able to be forgotten in a non-trivial percentage of the population of certain species, and got it stuck - and in a mirror of how the games we know changed TM access between Gen2 and Gen3, in her reality all copies were swiftly recalled once this was discovered and those affected were given government stipends. Most combat leagues disallow those affected from participation outside of exhibition matches, but as Sascha doesn't like fighting, she's happier with using the secondary effects of having an electrical move, like sparking tinder bundles between her fingers for campfires and jump-starting cars.

@LexYeen She sounds like a Pretty Cool Person, by my standards

@Felthry The other moves she knows are Rain Dance, Sunny Day, and Weather Ball - for the same practicality reasons. The first two don't affect large areas, but they're big enough for survival/emergency-services use during fires or rainstorms and their low-key secondary uses of producing clean water and sufficient heat to start a fire are also useful, while Weather Ball is there for things like firefighting and controlled burns.
