@Hayling@weirder.earth apparently the bug happens when the game can't maintain its expected frame rate, so the biggest thing you can do to fix it is just reduce the graphics settings--anything else that lowers the load on your GPU would help too, like running in fullscreen instead of windowed, closing other programs, etc

@Hayling@weirder.earth the root cause of the bug is probably some overzealous dynamic culling that tries to cut distant objects to keep the framerate up, but something's wrong with it and it's cutting near objects too
but there's nothing you can do about that unless you're a programmer at fromsoft
