looking for info on the whole russia-ukraine thing
so what.... exactly was putin/russia expecting to get out of this whole thing anyway? it seems like all they've managed to do so far is make an enemy of basically the entire world and i don't see how they could have expected it to turn out differently

@fox_news @Felthry And there's a number of factors operating against those odds, like the chain of personnel between orders being given and orders being executed breaking down, and things like equipment failures, so I'm inclined towards the lower end of that ballpark figure.
It's not impossible, nor is it probable. It's merely possible, and it is a possibility that cannot be fully accounted for nor controlled from here.
