I don't think I'm comfortable with people using my characters for things unless I trust them and have given permission.
Therefore, for games that involve them, I can probably just be specific and clarify that the art of them isn't Creative Commons, but the rest of it is?

Though I think Nova 2 will not license the assets for reuse at all, which solve that too.

@NovaSquirrel You can license the game code and assets separately--actually i think you have to if you want certain licenses, because some only apply to code and don't make sense for art and vice versa

@Felthry Yeah I'm licensing code/assets separately, but I think I also need to not cover all of the assets under the same license. Which would happen anyway if you mix in assets from multiple sources.
