tell me about a video game that you think has a really good title screen
-F

it's probably a really obvious answer but we just have to go with xenoblade chronicles
-F

chrono trigger is also an iconic title screen, very good
-F

@Felthry The original Sonic: the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis.

@Felthry Secret of Mana's title screen is better than playing Secret of Mana

@sharkNserg we have yet to play secret of mana, so i'm not sure if you mean it has a truly exceptional title screen or if the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired!
-F

@Felthry it starts out okay but becomes a legitimately bad game by the end, I don't really recommend it to anyone even though it has "classic" status

@Felthry but the title screen is really good and cool, so I guess both!

@sharkNserg we've tried to play it a few times but always bounced off it pretty quickly, dunno if we ever will actually play it

@Felthry oh dang I've actually talked before about how the frickin' title cards for The Long Dark do a truly superb job of setting the game's tone.

@Felthry it's a neat game about trying to survive in the remote canadian arctic after an electronics-obliterating solar event.

most game out there treat "survival" as like, bootstrappy resource collection. This is more like, trying not to freeze to death when you can only carry one night's worth of firewood and need half of it to boil water.
