uspol, question
what can even be done about this, anyway
what can we do to fix things

re: uspol, question
@Felthry Call your representatives in government - not once, but every day if you can. If possible, organize protests at your local courthouse or support those you're aware of with money or supplies.
This is not something that can be fixed in a day. Settle in for the mental equivalent of trench warfare, and don't forget to take care of your mental health.
re: uspol, question
@Felthry I'm afraid we can't... :/
re: uspol, question
@Felthry the existing structure of the US political system makes that hard.
Which is to say, not within sanctioned means, no.
re: uspol, question
@Felthry As far as how possible it is with possible unsanctioned means: fuck if I know, but I'm not holding my breath.
re: uspol, question
direct action and mutual aid. riots, bail funds, abortion funds, medical information sharing, etc
but to actually fix this situation requires taking these to the level of complete systemic destruction. it's all about dismantling coercive structures while organizing communities to make it so safe abortions are always easily available to all, no matter what
the hard part is organizing this while we're still under those coercive structures
