If anyone ever was interested in getting into the Ys or Trails series, both of them appear to be on sale this weekend! I highly recommend picking up Ys I and II Chronicles (currently $4.50 each) and Trails in the Sky (currently $10) and Trails in the Sky SC ($20)

(both series follow Falcom's tradition of "the first game leads very immediately directly into the second", so you'll probably want both if you get one)

I highly recommend the Ys series if you're into Zelda games or other overhead-perspective actiony games, and Trails is definitely worth a play if you have any interest in JRPGs or games with good story in general--it reminds us a bit of wild arms

@Felthry I saw there's been a lot of Japanese games on sale, due to Golden Week in Japan.

I picked up the first three modern Atelier games. I've played the first one, but didn't own it, and I want to try again and also the other two. Eventually maybe all of them!

I did get three Trails games, but I haven't played ANY yet, so that may have been silly. XD

@relee Ah! Which three Trails games? That's a series you *really* want to play in order--I don't recommend starting anywhere other than Trails in the Sky

@Felthry On further investigateion, I recently bought a number of the Tales series games, not Trails. The Trails games are still on my wishlist. ^.^;;

I do intend to start with Trails in the Sky, though.

@relee Ah, those are also good though! Except some of them.

I hope you enjoy them~
