one of the things I really liked about Absolver was that it was a bright and welcoming soulslike
you could ambush people, but pick them up off the ground and revive them afterwards. you could easily train together, could easily go another round
really beautiful design. I love that game a lot
@gardevoir we've never heard of this game, maybe it's worth a try?

@Felthry if you like the idea of a hand-to-hand beat-em-up in the vein of dark souls, and don't mind it being pretty dang short? yeah, it's pretty good!
@gardevoir i'm a little concerned by how heavily the steam page seems to be pushing the multiplayer aspect
we're Not big on multiplayer games

@Felthry you *can* play it singleplayer, but a fair amount of the fun is indeed getting randomly matched with other people wandering around the areas, to spar with and fight
if that doesn't appeal to you, you don't have to engage with it, but the game might feel a little hollow without it
@gardevoir seeing as it's currently on 80% off sale, we might just get it to give it a try at some point in the future
