Social interaction tip: if you like or dislike something, you don't have to call that a "take". You can just say that you like or dislike it!

By calling it a take you're implying that you think people who disagree with you are wrong, and there's zero need for that. Even if other people agree with you, it feels better to bond over something you love than over feeling like you're both Right

When you give "your take on something" you're giving your opinion on real facts, not just talking about your tastes
