adult, gamedev

After my earlier post about looking for a new method or tool for the game design stage I'm working on, I figured out a solution using a combination of a basic text editor and a channel on my main Discord.

It's nice that I'm thinking about/trying to do gamedev again.

My current project is an adult/ero game with the theme "Dommy Monsters Want to Own You and Will Fight Over You". It's a sort of life-sim where different 'monsters' claim you and fight over you and change you.

I'm still excited to make it, and see people play it. That's good, since I haven't worked on it in over a month, and the drive to make the thing needs to be able to survive situations like that.

I've been thinking it would be nice to live off the income from a patronage system like Patreon, while making and improving ero games. But, awkwardly, there are also non-ero games I want to make!

I may never stop wondering what path to take in life.

@Felthry I don't know if I have the time or energy to make both. XD

I think Erogames are more likely a good source of steady income, based on some of the niche Erogames I've seen.

Standard games can make a lot more money through mass-market publishing, if you use a purchase system and happen to make a hit. However, I want to make games using patron support and release them free as I progress!

It's a bit tricky.
