I'm looking forward to Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode; I understand why fighting games don't have an exploration-based story mode for teaching basics since that often requires stitching a whole extra game on top, but it works wonders for accessibility when it happens

Ideally all fighters would have something like Them's Fightin' Herds's story mode or SSBU's World of Light, something where you can play individual fights and achieve progress without committing 8 matches in a row to the possibility of beating a progressively difficult AI

@Lobst World of Light was good, but I think Subspace Emissary was far better and I'd like to see something like that more than anything

but we don't really play fighting games so i dunno how that would fit in a more conventional one
