So many of my friends when they check in from work, though.
@KinkyTurtle @Austin_Dern I think at least some people who do that want to discuss how that kind of stuff could work with you! i know we like to think about stuff like that sometimes

@KinkyTurtle @Felthry Y'know, there's questions that feel like building up the idea and there's questions that feel like attempts to debunk the idea.
And a lot of which kind of question it is depends on subtleties of how it's presented and what mood everyone is in and how tired they are. It's not surprising people who are into bodyweird will fumble often.
Oh, most of the questions I get are of the "genuinely interested" variety like Felthry mentioned.
It's just that usually, the answer is "I dunno, I just wanted to do a joke about singing in three-part harmony! or eating while on the job!"
@KinkyTurtle @Austin_Dern learning how to do social is Hard.

@Felthry @KinkyTurtle Sometimes, the best answer is 'it works very well, thanks', sometimes, the answer is exploring how the mind works and how it could work, and it's not always clear what direction people are going. (And sometimes one just isn't in the mood to do more than sketch two sets of headphones getting their wires hopelessly tangled.)
@Felthry @Austin_Dern
Hmm. Well, I kinda wish they'd do it some way other than begging for biological details about an incidental character I made up for one joke.
